We went to Maui in 2004 and loved it so much we started saving up for another trip as soon as we got home. The plan was to go back every 4 years. Well yesterday we "adjusted" that plan. Lisa and I were talking it through and it occurred to us that our kids are at that magical age where they can have fun and not worry about looking cool. By 2012, that may not be true anymore. We have always wanted to take the kids on a Disney cruise but kept putting it off. Well, this summer we go with Micky to Mexico. Lisa plans to go back to work part time in the fall so maybe we can go back to Hawaii in two years instead of four. Time will tell but for now, we are brushing up on our Spanish.

Yes we were talking about Maui yesterday. Disney was always the back up plan. By the time we paid for everything in Maui (food, entertainment, etc) Disney was a little more than half the cost. The biggest thing that changed our minds was when Lisa said, "the kids are only going to be this age once". I have a wise woman. Maybe if she makes the bank and the video thing keeps growing; we can go to to Maui next year.
That sounds so cool! We almost did that trip a few years back and I always wish we had. Awesome! When will you be gone?
We are leaving on July 13th and coming home on the 21st. I have adjusted my countdown accordingly.
